Civic Centre

Helensburgh & Lomond Civic Centre is on East Clyde Street, overlooking the Clyde estuary. (see map below) The building was, until 1968, the Clyde Street Primary school.
It was designed by  Alexander Nisbet  Paterson in 1903. It was a 2-storey school in Scottish revival style incorporating 17th century Renaissance details.Â
